Wall Graphics for Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles Transform Maker Space!

 Nov 23, 2021

Over the years, Superior Signs and Graphics technicians have done a lot of work for the Boys & Girls Club organization. Examples include custom-designed wall murals in Irvine, van wraps in Buena Park, and wall wraps in Santa Ana. When the organization called us this time, they needed new wall graphics in Los Angeles.

Maker Space Overhaul Encourages Creativity and Expression

The wall decals are the major attraction for the kids that come to the location. We made different color displays that added a fun vibe to the room. Also, we spelled out “Makers” to remind youngsters that this is the place to be when they are ready to let creativity go wild. Additional decals represent the Boys & Girls Club organization that operates this space.

Remembering Donors Who Help Change Children’s Lives

In addition to the wall decals, our technicians also fabricated and installed a donor plaque. It is mounted at the door of the maker space to express the organization’s gratitude to Pacific Premier Bank for making the area possible in the first place. We used a clear acrylic panel with rounded edges for safety.

The bottom third features the donor’s brand color. The top displays black vinyl lettering as well as the Boys & Girls Club logo for a co-branding opportunity. Installers used brushed aluminum standoffs to mount the donor plaque.

Finally, we fabricated and installed a Lakers glass door decal. This sports team is a loyal supporter of the Youth Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club. Besides that, the kids are fans and love seeing the yellow and purple on the glass doors.

Superior Signs and Graphics Helps Organizations and Schools with Recognizing Donors

When you rely on donors and sponsors to fund some of your programs, recognizing them is a common courtesy. That said, there are many inexpensive and visually aesthetic ways of going about this task. You have already seen the donor plaque and window graphics you might order.

However, you do not have to limit yourself.

  • Donor trees. A donor tree creates an attractive visual display in a lobby or common area open to visitors. The tree’s shape allows for the addition of leaves, which represent the individual donors and sponsors. The product is a good option when you like to add to it for years to come.
  • Pole flags. Take advantage of your exterior setup to recognize donors. Choose single or dual flags that are double-sided. We imprint your donors’ names and logos with messages of gratitude. Because of the flags’ durability, this is a good gesture to make toward the most significant contributors to your organization.
  • Scoreboard graphics. Schools, in particular, see consistently changing sponsors coming in to help fund everything from athletics to libraries. A scoreboard is an excellent place to recognize these individuals or companies. And, because we use vinyl graphics, we can make changes every school year as needed.
