Like so many other local warehouses, Amazon’s POC1 facility is large. This week, our team was tasked with designing, producing, and installing wayfinding wall graphics in Fontana, CA. These signs would identify the auxiliary bathrooms and be augmented by wall graphics that underscore the company’s brand.
Our technicians added wayfinding stripe graphics to the exterior of seven satellite restrooms on the edges of the 750 K-square-foot warehouse. Given that this facility has almost all new employees, it was critical to consider the wayfinding challenges and their solutions.
We collaborated with the site manager, who requested large stripes with 28-inch-tall lettering spelling out “Restroom” to be seen from anywhere in the facility. Concurrently, we added side wall wraps with the company’s Affinity Group logos and images, celebrating the diverse employee population. The finished products added to the functionality of signage at this location.
