The City of Buena Park Calls on Superior Signs and Graphics for Important Sign Project at Historic Property!

The Whitaker-Jaynes Estate dates to 1887 when brothers Andrew and James Whitaker ran a cattle ranch in Buena Park. Located at the corner of Beach Boulevard and Manchester Boulevard, the Jaynes family lived there until 1965. The City of Buena Parked bought the property, and it is now part of the Historic District. The City Manager knew Superior Signs and Graphics from other projects we had done for Buena Park. Because they liked what they saw, they connected with our shop once more. The goal was to put together a sign that would support wayfinding while also fitting in with the overall ambiance of the Historic District.

Our technicians selected an aluminum post and panel frame kit and customized the appearance to create the V-shape. Because the estate is at a busy intersection, the City wanted to ensure that everyone knew the home was open for tours to the public. You will notice that the quarter-inch-thick aluminum composite panels are ideally suited for the task.

We contour-cut them on the router for a curved shape. Our specialists then added the seven-inch-tall rider panel at the bottom. It shows the phone number and the hours. Selecting a rider for this kind of sign is always a good idea. Should there be changes, we can redo the rider but leave the sign in place.
