Ria Money Transfer operates out of Buena Park. The company started in 1987 and has grown to become a worldwide business. Today, all locations assist customers with bill payments, check cashing, money transfers nationally and international, as well as prepaid debit cards. When the company took over a defunct Western Union store in North Hollywood, its representative contacted us to discuss the design, manufacture, and installation of a building, pylon, and lobby signs with custom window and wall graphics.
The old Western Union location had some signage left over. For example, there was a pylon in place, which we could switch over to identify the new company. As usual, we started the job with a site survey, which allows us to take measurements, evaluate the already existing signage products, and provide feedback regarding sizing of the desired markers. Next, we put together the products.
Building sign. We placed a lightbox cabinet on the façade. It features the company’s name and corporate colors. After dark, it lights up to make wayfinding a snap.
Pylon sign. In the past, the sign would advertise the Western Union store. Now, it underscores the brand of Ria Money Transfer. It is a double-sided sign. One side displays the information in English while the other side features it in Spanish. The pylon also features smaller boxes that explain that this venue offers check cashing among other services.
Wall graphics. Welcoming customers and thanking them for their business is easy when you use images of happy consumers. Add the words “Thank You” in a variety of languages, and the wall graphic does a great job with putting folks in a good mood. Another graphic highlights the fact that the company has offices around the world.
Lobby sign. Installing a lobby sign helps reinforce the brand message. It supports name recognition and brand awareness. Once again, the sign features the famous orange and blue tones of the Ria brand.
Window graphics. We put the finishing touches on the project by installing window graphics. These stripes tie together the information from the pylon, building, and interior signs.
Now, the North Hollywood storefront has transformed into a Ria location with easy visibility from the street.
When you look closely, you notice that the Ria brand depends heavily on colors and font combinations. It is vital that each signage component looks identical and does not present with any shade differences. Entrusting your project to one sign shop makes sure that you get the same color display throughout the venue.
Outfitting an entire venue with signage is a snap when you work with the right sign shop. Our graphic artists can help with the design of the products from start to finish. If you own a franchise, we efficiently work with the business office to get signage specs and color details. No matter how large or small the location is, we can help.
