AOCUSA/Amalie Oil is a well-established player in the lubricant manufacturing, distributing, and exporting field with multiple locations in the L.A. area. Recently, the firm’s management team invited Superior Signs and Graphics for help rebranding with new signs and graphics in Los Angeles.
In the past, AOCUSA/Amalie was known as the Lubricating Specialties Company and the American Oil Company USA. Amalie is AOCUSA’s key brand. After a buyout, it was necessary to change signage in Pico Rivera and Commerce. This project encompassed three facilities and a complete change of signage facings.
Our team began with the design, production, and installation of a cabinet sign facing. It replaced the outdated display on a round wall cabinet in Pico Rivera. To get the cabinet’s sides to match the new color scheme, our technicians painted them black. Next, we added several directional signs to assist with wayfinding for shipping and receiving.
Finally, technicians placed signage over the front door in Commerce. This product is a black panel that fits perfectly over the entrance. It identifies the address as well as the company’s name. Moreover, it highlights the Amalie brand of motor oils. The next step is the installation of foam letter building logo signs.
