The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana works with youths between grades one and 12 at 950 West Highland Street. This Club operates with the help of generous donors. To honor them, the Club’s management contacted our sign shop to discuss the design, manufacture, and installation of a donor wall and exterior building signs in Santa Ana CA.
A case in point is Joe MacPherson. He owns several popular Orange County car dealerships. His donation of $2.5 million made a significant difference to the Club. It enabled the staff to serve more youths and provide the kinds of programs that speak to the kids.
This is why the Club named its teen center, “Joe’s Garage.” This designation now takes the form of a building sign in Santa Ana. In the past, it merely read, “The Garage Teen Center.” Our technicians used a 3 mm aluminum composite that we cut into seven-foot diameter circles. Next, they applied cast vinyl graphics to the material.
Not surprisingly, the Club also named its donor wall after this generous business owner. The management, of course, recognizes that support of the Club is a labor of love that is shared by quite a few individuals and businesses. Several acrylic panels highlight the different donor levels and contributors. We used a 3D logo and brushed aluminum wall standoffs for the panels.
Now, visitors, parents, and children see the names of the generous donors who make the workings of the Club possible. The donor wall is an attractive display that highlights the importance of participation in a common goal. The building sign gives the nod to Joe MacPherson in particular. It looks fantastic and has the pizzazz that teens appreciate.
A donor wall is an excellent way of making those who donate money, time, and goods to your organization feel appreciated. There are, of course, other ways of recognizing these crucial contributors.
A case in point is a step and repeat banner or wall that you feature at special events. We can wrap the wall with vinyl or create the banner that you can transport. This banner becomes the backdrop for photos at fundraising events and galas. It is a great way to ensure that sponsor names are included in all the footage of the event.
A donor tree is a favorite of faith communities. Taking on the shape of a tree, the individual leaves name the charitable donors to the organization. We recommend the use of cast metal plaques or engraved metal that we shape according to your favorite design. We can pre-fabricate the leaves and engrave them as needed or hold on to your specs and fabricate more leaves as you have need.
Our sign shop works with a broad range of materials to make your project look perfect. If you already have a design on hand, we can work with that. Conversely, if you want us to handle the design work, we can do that, too. Contact us today to discuss the project!
