The L.A. Sanitation Districts are a returning client. For this latest project, they needed an effective monument sign refacing in Los Angeles.
Previously, our team put together new aluminum dimensional lettering for the A.K. Warren Resource Facility and refaced the monument sign in Carson. This project is our third monument sign renewal in Los Angeles. The client needed the update because they changed the facility’s name.
Our technicians first removed the old half-inch-thick aluminum letters. They then patched and painted the structure. While this was happening, we manufactured the new half-inch-thick aluminum lettering at the shop. The last step was the installation. While the original sign read “Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County,” the new lettering says “Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.”
In addition to changing the facility’s name, the new lettering and paint add a contemporary look to the monument sign.
