Our team handles all aspects of a signage project. We recently designed, permitted, fabricated, and installed a custom building sign in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Check out the project!
In business since 1971, Spun Products has served the aircraft industry, among others, with high-precision metal spinning. When looking for ways to stand out and present its brand, the management team determined to order an aluminum building sign.
We met with the client and proposed three-dimensional letters with a depth of two inches. They are hollow, ensuring they are not too heavy for the facade. Once the client approved the specs, our office handled the permitting. Meanwhile, our technicians produced the letters as well as the logo.
For the logo, we masked off the intricate rings and painted them. Finally, our installers mounted the products to the wall surface. Because it consists of rough block, the installation was tricky, but nothing our pros could not handle. When we finished, our client was delighted with the result.
Three-dimensional aluminum letters are a favorite but are not the only choice. For example, some clients have had excellent success with contour-cut building signs. They are budget-friendly, very durable, and allow for an imprint of your corporate name and logo.
If you do opt for 3D letters, remember that a depth of two inches is not mandatory. It is a fantastic option when you want your signage to pop. However, we have also fabricated quarter-inch-thick aluminum cut-outs that look great and are just as durable as the thicker lettering. Our technicians will paint the style elements in any color you prefer.
Another consideration is the finish. While most clients like us to paint the aluminum in their brand colors, some have preferred a brushed finish, showing off the metallic hues. We can combine the two and paint a logo, leaving the lettering brushed.
In addition to designing, producing, and installing custom building signs in Santa Fe Springs and elsewhere in Southern California, we also handle the permitting process. It is only one of the many services that set us apart from the online order places that will custom cut some material and then send it to you.
Permitting can be complicated, depending on your city’s zoning rules. We know them. Our team also knows how to submit the specs so that you get the permit you need the first time around.
