Superior Signs and Graphics is a C-45 licensed sign company that designs, fabricates, and installs signs for Irvine businesses, from lobby logos for research labs, law firms, and tech offices to building and monument letters that must follow a center’s sign program. Sign programs
In Irvine, any retail center, multi-tenant building, or site with more than one owner generally has its own sign program, and new signs must follow it as well as the city’s Sign Ordinance. The city also requires a sign program for electronic message signs, decorative construction fences, icon signs, and supergraphics. That is why our first step on an Irvine project is to confirm which rules apply to your address before we design anything.

Lobby and office branding is the largest share of our Irvine work. These are recent examples.
The Vision Research and Assessment Institute (VRAI), a returning client, now greets employees and visitors with a brushed metal lobby logo. IMEX Vision, maker of drinkware, opened a new Irvine factory with a three-dimensional acrylic lobby logo wall sign we cut and installed. At Bio-Rad’s Irvine warehouse we produced giant wall-mounted banners and window graphics.
The UCI Samueli School of Engineering found us online and hired us for an office wall exhibit of 16 acrylic panels mounted on brushed aluminum standoffs, aligned with the precision an engineering school expects.
Lexitas moved to Skypark Circle and needed building and lobby logo signs, which we made from half-inch acrylic. Rescue One Financial has used us for an acrylic lobby sign, an office relocation, a reception desk marker, and conference room signs.

TOPGREENER, on Reynolds Avenue, updated its monument sign with new 3D lettering in an exact PMS color match. The Irvine Village Center, across Jeffrey Road from Irvine Valley College, received new faces on its directional signs as the tenant mix changed.
Wall graphics
Irvine companies that want one vendor for the whole wall graphics job, from design to large-format printing to installation, can get all three from our team. OC Solar used our wall wraps, murals, and 3D logo signs to show its mission statement and Tesla solar products in its Irvine lobby. Ecotrak displays its mission and vision on wall graphics we installed, and we also printed rough-surface wall decals and lettering for Irvine schools, where standard vinyl would not hold.
Channel letters
Channel letters for Irvine storefronts and office buildings are usually set by the center’s sign program, which fixes the maximum letter height, the face and return colors, and whether the letters are face-lit or halo-lit. We fabricate face-lit, halo-lit (reverse), and combination LED channel letters to those specs, draw the elevation the city requires, and provide the listed and labeled electrical components Irvine’s permit checklist asks for.

A sign program is a set of sign rules for a specific property. In Irvine, most retail centers, multi-tenant buildings, and sites with more than one owner have one. The city’s Planning Counter (planning@cityofirvine.org, 949-724-6308) can confirm it, and we check it for you before we design anything.
Irvine sign permits are submitted electronically through the city’s IrvineReady portal. The packet needs plans with the building elevation and sign details, a property owner approval letter, and, for lighted signs, a Title 24 sign lighting compliance form when it applies. We prepare and submit it.
Irvine prohibits signs in the public right-of-way, rooftop signs, and animated or moving signs. Digital messaging signs are not banned, but they need review by the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Commission, or the City Council.
