Durability and curb appeal combine at our latest project. The client needed apartment community signs in Anaheim, CA, specifically monument signs. We were able to replace weathered plywood with aluminum composite panels. Check it out!

Located at 13061 Lampson Avenue, the City Villas apartment homes are centrally located to shopping centers, colleges, and local attractions. While the client did have monument signs advertising the apartment complex, they lacked the necessary curb appeal. They were made using plywood and standard posts, and the sign was weathered and damaged from the elements.

The old monument sign we replaced
We proposed new monument signs for the apartments that are budget-friendly, durable, and in keeping with the location’s curb appeal. Our technicians constructed two long-lasting replacement signs, using pressure-treated posts for the frames. The panels are made from one-quarter-inch-thick aluminum composite. We painted them red, making them easier for drivers to notice.
Additionally, we overlaid the panels with imprinted cast vinyl that allows the client to take advantage of the 3M MCS warranty extension. These signs are designed to last for many years. Most importantly, not only is the structure durable, but the protected graphics also come with an additional 2-year warranty beyond the five years already offered.

The signs visible from the street must enhance the property’s curb appeal, promote the brand, and help direct prospective tenants to the leasing office and similar locations. The monument sign is among the most important products to feature along the street. But how can you protect your signage investment? Also, what makes for an eye-catching monument sign design?
We have already discussed the 3M MCS warranty extension. But did you know we can apply an anti-graffiti laminate to protect your signage investment from taggers? If someone defaces the product with permanent marker or spray paint, you can wipe off the offending markings with a solvent. Additionally, when planning your monument sign’s design, consider adding high-resolution photos to showcase what sets your property apart. Examples include photos of freshly renovated units and floor plans.

Q: What are monument signs?
A: Monument signs are positioned near the property’s parking lot entrance or street corners. They are ideal for brand building and are typically at eye height of passersby.
Q: Why do I need directional signs?
A: Directional signs help visitors locate the facilities they are likely looking for. Examples include leasing offices, amenities, and apartments.
Q: Do I need more signs than custom monuments?
A: Our team recommends adding custom property signs and graphics that continue the brand conversation your monument sign introduces. Examples include pole banners, wall panels, custom flags, A-frame signs, and more. Call us today to discuss additional options!
