We were back at the Boys & Girls Club of Costa Mesa. Several years ago, we designed, fabricated, and installed themed wall murals for the facility’s grand reopening. When the client asked us to return, they needed vinyl door wraps and graphics for the Costa Mesa club.

Door Wraps and Graphics Welcome Visitors to the STEAM Labs
STEAM is the acronym standing for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Educators agree that it is a hallmark of a complete education and helps prepare students for careers and college. Creative problem-solving is at the heart of the experience.
The Boys & Girls Club of Costa Mesa already had STEAM labs set up, but they only had partial door wraps that had begun to look – quite literally – picked at. Kids had begun picking at the die-cut lettering and removing bits and pieces. The client liked the overall design of the door wraps but wanted something more durable.
We recreated the artwork and translated it into full door wraps. For the vinyl, we chose a cast, high-tack product that makes it difficult for anyone to pick at and peel off. The finished door wraps look great, honor the donors who made the STEAM labs possible, and create an attractive hallway that also helps learners identify the various spaces.

Vinyl Graphics Wraps for Offices, Classrooms, and Garage Doors
Custom door wraps are a favorite among schools and offices. They combine wayfinding properties with strong branding potential. One example is Rio Hondo College, which paired classroom door graphics with branded logo floor mats. Graves Middle School in L.A. was looking for ways to inspire college enrollment and used door wraps to introduce college names and logos. A residential client in La Mirada wanted to transform their standard vinyl garage door into one with a wood finish. The garage door wrap completely changed the home’s curb appeal.

Do Vinyl Door Wraps Protect the Surfaces They Are Installed On?
Yes, the vinyl protects the door’s surface from scuffs, scratches, and daily wear. Consider adding a protective laminate to keep the graphics looking great, even in high-traffic settings.
What Can I Do With Custom Vinyl Door Wraps?
Brand recognition and wayfinding are two of the most common reasons to install custom door wraps and graphics. They can display logos, department titles, room numbers, and similar identifying details.

How Do You Clean Vinyl Wraps?
Clean vinyl wraps with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
