Upsampling Low-Resolution Artwork for Printed Wallpaper

The client assists patients with dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, active release technique, and adjustments to improve spinal joint motion. They decided that custom printed wallpaper would be an ideal motif for the larger walls in treatment rooms. The client even had the artwork professionally done and sent it to us.

However, this is when our technicians realized that the resolution was not high enough to let us enlarge the image. Normally, we would have to ask the client to redo the artwork, which is expensive, or help them select a different image. But that is the past.

Today, we use AI software that lets us upsample a raster image to a clarity level acceptable for excellent enlargement. While most sign shops do not provide professional image upscaling, it is now just another service we offer to clients. The finished product looks precisely the way the client envisioned it.
