Our sign shop has a long-established professional partnership with Orange Lutheran High School that dates back to 2015. Recently, we worked with the Athletics Department to create various sets of bold wall graphics in Orange, CA.
School Colors and Photos Transform the Weight Room Hallway and Associated Areas
The Athletics Department determined that it was time to upgrade the look of the hallways by the weight room. Before our treatment, the wall’s concrete was bland and lacked the good looks that other areas of the school already embrace. Images of students engaged in various Athletic Department-related activities would change that.
Our technicians designed wall wraps that combine the school’s colors with its logos. Moreover, we used high-resolution photos of students to create parts of visual interest along the hallways. We spent some time sizing the images to ensure that they contribute to a cohesive display. Look closely, and you notice the gradient image changes that make the vinyl graphics look amazing.
We used 3M cast vinyl and a matte laminate that would allow us to conform the material to the indentation seams in the concrete wall. It boosts the durability of the vinyl and prevents rips or scratches. Moreover, we customized the measurements to fit perfectly in between the door openings. It is fair to say that the client was extremely pleased by the wall graphics for the high school corridor.
Wall Graphics for Hallways
Previously, we have discussed wall graphics for lobbies, training rooms, and employee break rooms. However, it is essential to note that hallways are also excellent venues for these types of images.
- Narrow hallways. When adding wall-mounted framed graphics is not a good option, consider supporting the good looks of your interior décor with wall graphics on one side of the hallway. Choose images that underscore your brand message, focus on products or services, or showcase the manufacturing process. We recommend full-color photos but can also produce black and white graphics.
- School spirit. Take a page from the playbook of Orange Lutheran, and transform a facility’s hallways with high-resolution photos and school spirit colors. However, there are other options, too. For example, a word wall can underscore the terms that are part of your school’s culture. Inspirational quotes are also good options.
- Wayfinding. Use your company’s hallway walls as wayfinding tools. Wall graphics for schools in Orange, CA, include arrows, directory graphics, and floor-to-ceiling department names are just some choices you might make.
