Because losing one of their own was a blow to all members, this would have to be a graphic that would give anyone at the location an opportunity to pause for a moment. The client asked us to apply this wall wrap to textured wallpaper that had been in place for a while. Therefore, the team used conformable vinyl with an aggressive adhesive that would prevent peeling and separation from the substrate. Moreover, it would enable the material to conform to the substrate. Doing so allows the wallpaper texture to affect the mural, which makes it look even more like a real flag.

The finished product is an impressive rendition of the American flag that presents with optical texture as well as tangible depths passersby appreciate. To ensure that outlets in the wall would not detract from the display, we applied wrap material to them, too. It is truly a fitting tribute.
